Hello from Captain John!  I have been diving the fossil rich waters of the Gulf of Mexico in Southwest Florida for the past 2 decades.  At a young age I began hunting and searching for fossilized shark's teeth.  My parents took me to Venice beach to collect shark's teeth along the shoreline and I was instantly HOOKED!  I started hunting local creeks in my area that I could access by bicycle as a young boy.  Once I received my driver's license at 16, I started strapping my canoe to the roof of my car and hauling it up to the Peace River to hunt for megalodon shark teeth.  

Looking back 25 years my passion for these incredible fossils continued to grow!   I have transformed into a full-time fossil diver and full-time charter captain. Fossil Junkies Meg Dives & Airboat Digs is my passion.   I am constantly on the water scouting new grounds and exploring new bottom in the Gulf of Mexico and Peace River.  Day in and day out my life revolves around our fossil hunting trips and my two boys and beautiful wife.  Watching our customers discover these incredible fossils is SO rewarding.  I strive to put our customers on top of the best grounds to help them have the best chances at finding that GIANT Megalodon shark's tooth.   

I love providing Airboat Rides and fossil hunting dig tours on the Peace River.  As well as scuba diving charters for megalodon shark teeth out of Venice Beach.
